AM Best Assigns Strong Ratings to Ceres Life Insurance

The Westaim Corporation (TSXV: WED) is pleased to announce that AM Best has assigned Ceres Life Insurance Company (Austin, TX) a Financial Strength Rating of B++ (Good) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “bbb+” (Good).

The outlook for these ratings is stable.

AM Best’s evaluation reflects Ceres Life’s strong balance sheet, which the rating agency considers to be very strong.

The company also received recognition for its adequate operating performance, limited business profile, and solid enterprise risk management (ERM) practices.
