Albsig Jetë has shown strong growth in the life insurance market during the first four months of 2025, consolidating its position as one of the sector’s leading players.
Official data from the Financial Supervisory Authority shows that Albsig Jetë doubled its gross written premiums in debtor life insurance—the main product in the life segment—compared to the same period last year. Premiums reached 231.7 million lek from 114.2 million lek, marking an increase of approximately 103%.
This surge allowed the company to increase its market share from 22.69% in 2024 to 39.77% in 2025, securing first place in this product category.
Ervin Spahiu, General Manager of Albsig Jetë, told ekofin.al that the growth reflects the company’s five-year commitment and the dedication of its employees.
“We are fulfilling our mission to provide quality and innovative products while upholding high standards, integrity, and professionalism,” Spahiu said. “Our achievements complement the success of Albsig Sh.a., a leading non-life insurer, and the Kastrati Group. We thank our clients and partners for their trust and promise to continue working with dedication and responsibility.”
Albsig Jetë also reported a significant increase in claims paid. In 2025, the company disbursed 24 million lek in debtor life insurance claims, up from 11 million lek last year, reflecting a 115% increase and underscoring its commitment to customers.
Overall, in the life insurance market, Albsig Jetë climbed to second place, with gross written premiums of approximately 240 million lek, just behind Sigal Life at 245 million lek. The narrow gap highlights intense competition and positions Albsig Jetë as a strong contender for market leadership.
