PAO Bank Limited (PAObank) is combining banking and insurance services through a new partnership with China Ping An Insurance (Hong Kong) (CPAIHK). As part of the initiative, new customers can receive free travel insurance and access attractive cash rewards and interest rates.
New customers must use the referral code “PAOBPR” to qualify for the travel insurance. The promotion runs until 30 September 2025. Customers who complete three missions in the PAObank app can earn up to HK$1,000 in cash rewards.
The missions include:
Setting PAObank as the default Faster Payment System (FPS) account.
Exchanging HK$5,000 to US dollars via the in-app FX service, earning a US$9.29 cash reward credited within two months.
Depositing HK$200,000 in new funds and placing a 6-month HKD time deposit. The first 1,000 customers completing all three missions will receive an additional HK$929 cash reward.
Newly signed-up customers using the referral code will also enjoy 18% annual interest on a 1-month HKD time deposit, up to HK$50,000. CPAIHK customers opening a PAObank account can access an even higher 20% annual interest on the same deposit term.
