Chubb introduced its new Travel Pro suite of travel insurance products at the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon today.
The products are designed to help travelers deal with common travel disruptions like flight delays, lost luggage, unpredictable weather, and medical emergencies.
Travel Pro is a digital-first, parametric insurance solution. It can be integrated directly into the booking process through partnerships with airlines, online travel agencies, financial institutions, and other digital sales platforms.
The insurance also makes claims easier by offering automatic claims and quick payouts for expenses.
Chubb’s platform, Chubb Studio®, powers these integrations, making it easier for travelers to access insurance during the booking process.
Alex Blake, Chubb’s Global Head of Travel Insurance, explained, “Travelers face many challenges, from flight delays to medical emergencies and lost luggage. With Travel Pro, we use data and technology to help travelers handle these disruptions with more confidence.”
