HBX Group Partners with UK’s Superscript to Deliver Innovative Travel Industry Insurance

by gongshang21

HBX Group has announced a strategic collaboration with Superscript—a UK-based digital insurance broker—aimed at providing travel industry partners across the UK and Europe with tailored, innovative insurance solutions. The partnership is designed to address diverse risk profiles spanning multiple sectors within the travel industry, from hospitality to retail travel services.

Daniel Nordholm, Chief Product and New Business Officer at HBX Group, emphasized the value of the alliance for industry stakeholders. “Our partnership with Superscript will help travel industry partners access innovative and competitively priced insurance solutions for a wide range of business risks,” he stated. The collaboration leverages complementary strengths: Superscript’s expertise in digital insurance broking and HBX Group’s deep understanding of the travel sector’s unique needs, a combination that will play a key role in advancing HBX Group’s broader insurtech initiatives.

Christopher Barclay, CEO of Superscript, echoed the enthusiasm for the partnership, noting its alignment with the broker’s customer-focused goals. “We are delighted to partner with HBX Group to meet the needs of its partners with our award-winning digital broking services,” he said. As part of the agreement, Superscript will soon roll out corporate commercial insurance products specifically tailored for two critical travel industry segments: hotels and retail travel agencies—filling a gap for businesses seeking targeted risk coverage.

The collaboration with Superscript also complements HBX Group’s existing network of industry partnerships, which includes alliances with battleface, Wallbid, and Intermundial. This expansion strengthens HBX Group’s position as a one-stop provider of diverse travel-related solutions, integrating insurance into its broader service ecosystem.

Superscript, which serves businesses of all sizes—from micro-enterprises to multinational corporations—has already established a European footprint. In 2022, the broker expanded into Europe, securing regulatory approval in the Netherlands to operate across the European Economic Area (EEA)—a credential that will support the new partnership’s goal of delivering consistent insurance services to travel industry partners across the UK and Europe.
