Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 25th that it will launch the “Carr Safety Campaign,” aimed at promoting traffic safety awareness for children and cultivating a culture of safety.
The initiative focuses on educating children about safe practices while using kickboards, a popular mode of mobility for kids. Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance wants to instill these safety habits early on, so children carry them into adulthood.
A highlight of the campaign is the “Karr Safety Package,” which includes helmets and protective gear, developed in collaboration with Micro Kickboard. This partnership is part of an ongoing safety program for kickboard users, reinforcing the importance of safety gear.
The campaign offers several interactive activities for customers, such as a children’s traffic safety drawing contest, a raffle event through Kakao Pay, an online safety pledge, and offline kickboard education sessions.
Additionally, a social media event will help spread traffic safety messages. Participants can share their contest artwork, photos from offline events, and images of themselves wearing the Karr Safety Package on their social media accounts.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance also plans to open a dedicated kickboard experience center at the Mobility Museum. The center will offer regular safety education on kickboard use.
