Chubb Life Insurance Vietnam, a subsidiary of global insurer Chubb, has partnered with Vietnamese fintech company MoMo to launch a new digital critical illness insurance product called Critical Illness Insurance+.
The product is now available on the MoMo App and aims to enhance access to health protection for Vietnamese consumers, addressing the country’s insurance protection gap. By leveraging digital platforms, Chubb Life and MoMo seek to make health insurance more accessible and convenient for a wider audience.
Critical Illness Insurance+ simplifies the insurance purchase process. Applicants can complete the entire transaction digitally in under two minutes by answering just two health-related questions—no medical examination required. This fully digital approach eliminates paperwork and the administrative burden, catering to Vietnam’s growing digital population.
The policy offers reimbursement for medical expenses up to VND 5 billion per year and covers 37 critical illnesses, including cancer, stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. Importantly, policyholders can make unlimited claims within the three-year term.
With flexible and affordable premium options, the policy is designed for a wide range of customers, including young professionals, gig economy workers, and first-time insurance buyers.
Nguyen Hong Son, country president of Chubb Life Vietnam, emphasized that the new product addresses the changing needs of today’s consumers, particularly younger individuals who are more proactive about their finances and comfortable with digital solutions.
