Uzbekistan Suspends License of GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP for 10 Days

The National Agency for Prospective Projects of Uzbekistan has suspended the license of GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP JSC for a period of 10 days, starting from October 8, 2025.

The suspension follows an audit of the company’s reports, which revealed violations of regulatory requirements set by law.

As a result, GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP was also fined 35 million soums.

During the suspension, the company is prohibited from entering into new insurance and reinsurance contracts or extending any existing agreements.

However, it is still required to fulfill its obligations under ongoing contracts.

The National Agency has urged insurance customers to avoid signing new contracts with GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP until the violations are resolved.
